Smarti Solutions is led by Michele Harris, a seasoned marketing and business development expert with over 25 years' experience developing revenue-rich programs for global business, emerging startups and marketing agencies.

Michele is the founder of Smarti Solutions, a leading agency selection firm for the mid-size marketplace. Michele has managed hundreds of reviews for advertising agencies, public relations firms, branding, digital, media and marketing companies, across a broad range of industries saving time and turmoil for both clients and agencies.

With the benefit of reviewing hundreds of pitches, she has the unique buyer perspective of seeing first-hand how clients make decisions and winners are selected. Michele provides valuable perspective, insights, business development strategy, presentation coaching and sales training to help agencies and businesses of all types communicate more effectively and win more business.  

Prior to Smarti, Michele was Vice President of Marketing & Business Development at agency Lowe Lintas, where she managed channel alliances and led mega million new business pitches and marketing strategy for clients including HSBC and various Unilever brands. Earlier, as Director of Business Development at digital marketing agency, Blue Marble ACG, Michele co-formed the agency's marketing consulting group and landed multi-million-dollar clients like Cadillac, Medscape & Nabisco, in addition to leading all business development initiatives with sister agencies N.W. Ayer and D'Arcy. Other agencies where Michele has managed client services include K2 Digital and Dentsu Advertising. Michele has developed national advertising and digital marketing programs for major brands ranging Procter & Gamble, Cadillac/GM, Hewlett Packard, Bayer, CIBC Oppenheimer, TDWaterhouse, Audio Book Club, Standard and Poor's, Canon USA and Japan Airlines.

Michele started her career in sales training, as an Account Director and Eastern Regional Manager for field marketing agency, K&L Partners. Michele has recruited, hired and trained hundreds of brand ambassadors and field marketing representatives for clients including Hill's Science Diet/Colgate Palmolive, Castrol, Western Union and Perrier.

She has been covered by Media Post; PR Week; Crain's BtoB Magazine, CNN Money Magazine, The New York Times, U.S. News & World Report, The New York Post and Inc. Magazine and received a Small Business Award from Mayor Bloomberg.  ​Michele received her B.A. in Communications from George Washington University.
