Smarti operates differently from other agency search/selection firms. Unlike most selection firms that focus on big brands and big agencies, Smarti specializes in midsize companies seeking boutique and midsize agencies and has an unmatched knowledge of this constantly-changing universe. Our model is different, too. Smarti does not require agencies to “subscribe” or pay any fees to be considered in searches, which often alienates agencies and creates bias in managing the agency selection for the client. Smarti charges clients a small set up fee to commit resources and cover any expenses in the searching and vetting process. We don’t take any fee from the agency until one wins the business, then we get a commission based on agency revenue from the client.
